Obituary of DeLeana Lanette Fisher
DeLeana Lanette Fisher was born on October 15, 1964 in Monroe, Michigan to the union of John Henry Fisher Jr. and Andrea (Williams) Fisher. A free spirit, Dede expressed herself through fashion. She loved to shop and bought anything that seemed beautiful or interesting to her, no matter the style. A talented self-taught hairstylist, Dede also served as an entertainer and counselor while caring for the hair of her friends and family.
Very outgoing, DeLeana would mix and mingle with anyone. She never passed on an opportunity to hit the dance floor. A kid at heart, she enjoyed watching old cartoons, especially her favorite “Heckle and Jeckle”. Dede enjoyed experimenting in the kitchen and was always convinced that any concoction she put together was delicious. She was certainly one of a kind, with the ability to have you laughing to the point of crying one minute and wanting to chase her down the next.
DeLeana Lanette Fisher, age 57, of Monroe was welcomed into the arms of Jesus on Thursday; August 11, 2022. Her passing was preceded by her parents; grandparents: John and Genieva Fisher; three aunts: Marilyn Fisher, Mary McNair, and Lillie Bramlette; and an uncle: Alonzo Fisher.
