Praying for the family of Mr. Steven Thomas Parks Jr., He was so nice and humble, He always took time out to say hello and smile. At school he was thoughtful and always checked to see if you were ok. I'll always remember how he took time out to help us find my lost car keys after a basketball game in the winter time. It was freezing cold and he was the only one that stayed behind to help us and waiited until the tow truck driver showed up. I'll never forget and always thank him for helping us. Thank you Again Mr. Parks. We will miss him. He is a true Angel. Lyn & Ousmane.

Thomas and his brother Frank were always the sweetest boys. They have always had a special place in my heart.
Thomas had the most amazing soul.
Thomas was very kind and respectful to everyone.
His love for his mother was untouchable.
He loved his brother, sisters, nieces and nephews with his whole heart.
He will not only be missed in our family, he will be missed by the community and all the lives he touched through music. Thomas shared his love for music with hundreds of people.
He was always such a loving, caring boy and man.
He was indeed, a man to be proud of.

This was a sad unexpected thing to read about this morning. I was involved in Tom's life when he was a teenager within the youth group in Monroe. I have many fond memories of Tom and enjoyed his trumpet playing when he played. My heart goes out to all family and friends who are shocked and grieving today.
