My mother always told me I was her rock. She said even when I was little. But really she and Mamaw were my rocks. And they made sure that me and my sisters went to church where we each came to know the true Rock, Jesus. I knew she loved me and my sisters. She taught us to never give up; that as long as we had breath in our bodies we have hope; that life’s lesson was hardest learned but best remembered; to remember who we are and Whose we are; and to help others in need. I know I will see you again, but until then, I will miss you hugging me and telling me “ I love you darlin’.”
