I am saddened to hear of the passing of my cousin, Karen. Her life seems so full and vibrant by the photo montage! There are a lot of great memories I have of Karen. She tried to teach me to sew, unfortunately I didn't love it, but she tried. Her quilts and tapestries were out of this world and my favorite will always be the fairy tale one that hung in the dining room.

Karen was a friend I met almost ten years ago when I first moved to Monroe. Her loving personality, and friendship will never be forgotten. She was a brilliant, creative woman whom I admired very much. She could do just about anything she set her mind to doing. She challenged me in many ways.
She would often share about her many travels with Arne, and I would be mesmerized hearing about all of her adventures! We did a girls trip together in Florida one year and she brought me to a spot where the manatees would gather together. There must have been over 100!
I enjoyed our simple visits over coffee and cookies and truly valued her friendship.
I know my words can’t take away your pain or hope to make things better. I wanted to reach out to say how sorry I am to all her family and friends.
I know in my heart that she is healed and whole with Jesus, and it causes me to rejoice even more in the God we both served happily together!

Karen was so much to our family. A second mother to Beata, and a Grandmother to Mira and Zachary. There will never be another like her. I would never have met Beata if not for Karen. She will always be in our hearts. She and the rest of the Bredschneiders have always been there for us. We miss her already. Our most profound condolences.

My very best friend of 63 years is at peace with our Heavenly Father. I will miss her cheerful smile, creative personality and can do attitude.
