Tom...Me...Jim Bunkleman.....The Arbor Ave Bunch .. MHS 76 Football.
We played countless games of Touch Football , Plastic Wiffleball and Basketball in the street on the pavement, In Swartz's yard, in Tom's Driveway and in the BLVD on Maple Ave. One year we had the Arbor Ave Olympics in 72'..CLASSIC
I remember going to the Youth Group at Church with Tom, Dave and Betty a lot to hang out with Chet Wilhelm in the Royal Rangers Youth Group. We went mostly to play Floor Hockey...Had a great time. Chet knew how draw us.
Tom was an avid Pigeon guy. We used to climb the pillars under the bridges at Monroe Street and Macomb in the River Raisin to get Squabs. (Baby Pigeons) We would raise them and race them. We had many.. It was the early 70's ...that's what we did.
I also remember us in the basement working with Model trains...we had an love for them but no money so that faded fast.
Many great and lastly memories growing up with Tom in our formative years on Arbor Avenue...
