As I watched the tribute video it occurred to me that in all time I have known Madelyn, she never seemed to age. From church as a kid, hanging out with David as a teenager, and as an adult seeing her smiling face as I walked into the bank or running into her and Jack at the store, she just did not change. When I was at the Ely home, she always treated me like family...one of my best memories was going with the Ely family to Au Train Bay just after David and I had graduated High School. Of course, apple pie will never be the same now that she is gone! A wonderful woman. My condolences to the Ely family for your loss. My heart and prayers are with you.
