I will always cherish my memories and time spent working with Mike. He taught me and so many others so much, and we lovingly called him "The Gozfather". Mike's bright personality, infectious laugh, and leadership is so missed in the CVC pharmacy. He made such an impact and will always be remembered. My thoughts and prayers go out to the Gozdor family during this difficult time.

Mike was a wonderful person to work with, always friendly, positive, just a pleasure to be around. There are few people who seem to bring a very "positive energy" to a space - Mike certainly was one of those people. He enjoyed teaching and seemed to be loved by all, and rightfully so. It was incredibly sad to hear of this news, and I can't imagine how his family and loved ones our feeling. Please know that your extended Pharmacy family at UM extend our deepest condolences on such a tragic loss, and we grieve with you after losing such a great person, he will be dearly missed.

Mike was a great person to work with. He was always upbeat and friendly. I will miss him dearly.
I had the unfortunate task to share the sad news about his passing with some of the CVICU staff and here are some of the comments I wanted to relay showing how incredibly loved and appreciated he was:

Mike was one of the funniest, smartest people I worked with at Monroe. He knew so much about many subjects and was a great pharmacist. I still can hear his booming laugh, larger than life. My heart goes out to his family and wife. He will be missed.

It was an honor to know and work with Mike for so many years at U of M (Michigan Medicine). He was not only a great pharmacist, he was a genuinely kind and wonderful person. I remember times when he would come back from his break or lunch and bring me a fresh cookie, just because that was the kind of person he was. It didn't matter what your role was in pharmacy, Mike always had your best interests at heart. Pharmacy will not be the same without him. Even during stressful days he could make your day brighter with his sense of humor and upbeat personality. He will be missed dearly but he will never be forgotten.

Mike was an amazing, kind hearted, gentleman. I had the please of working with him for 10 years at UM. He talked about his family all the time, he was so proud of you all. Mike was a great man. I only knew Mike for about a year at UofM but he made such an impact on me. Mike was an amazing person, one of the best I've ever met. His laugh lit up the room, i will never forget how many days i spent working with Mike and having so much fun.
