A truly amazing man and a dear friend and Scout mentor. Elmer always had a warm smile and "many" kind words. Elmer and I would talk for hours about our Boy Scout troop there at Trinity. I have the honor of still overseeing the troop that Elmer help to start and he loved to talk about Scouting. I was blessed to have known Elmer both from Trinity (he also loved to talk church) and Scouting. I will truly miss him and his big smile, but I will never forget him. Elmer's smile made us smile. Jim and Pam and family, you have our deepest sympathies and compassion. May the resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, be of great comfort to you. It makes me happy to know that he and his warm smile will be waiting for us in glory. Ron and I are sending two Bibles in his memory to the local prison ministry. They will be marked with the "Creation Prison Ministry" message of freedom in Christ. God bless you. Jesus is close to the brokenhearted.
