Joan was the sweetest person and was so honored to be a part of her life here at Norman Towers. Was so glad to be with her at night to help her get ready for bed. We always enjoyed each other's company. She was so happy when I would make her rice pudding and my potato soup. Sharron and I were able to celebrate her 90th birthday. I bought her a Teddy Bear and it sang Happy Birthday. She loved it. Sharron and I would go see her every two days to visit Joan. Her face would light up when she saw us. We were her care givers when she was at home. Last thing Joan said to us was eat some butter pecan ice cream for her. We will miss her so much. She was more than a true friend could ever be. My condolences to her family. Steve, Liz, Keith and Donna.
