We only knew travis for a few years but from the first time we met it felt like we knew him forever. He was always tinkering in the front yard with something. He was a hard worker and always there to help you in any way he could. I loved talking to him every morning while I drove the kids to school and home. He was a great kid and I told him that all the time. I am lucky to be able to know him he made a difference in everyone he met. He had a great was of bringing out the best in you. He will forever be our friend and will always be in our hearts. And while it is hard to drive down our road and not see him outside working on something he will remain in our hearts and thoughts forever. You were truly one of a kind and a great kid. We will miss you!
From all of us; dick, Kellie, john and jimmy

I remember when I first met Travis. We were very young in the 4th or 5th grade. I didn't have very many friends because I was "new" but Travis and his sister Tiffany were the first two people to make me feel welcomed. They let me know that it was okay to be myself and not to be shy. Travis always lit up rooms when he smiled and when he'd laugh I couldn't help but giggle along with him. Travis and I weren't very close and I wish it wouldn't have been that way. But I always talk to him now like he's next to me in the couch watching a silly tv show. When him and his family moved away I got really sad but I knew it was okay because we'll be friends forever. After he moved he made new friends as well did I. I'd always get a text saying "hey this is Travis's new number". He's had so many different phones and or numbers I can't keep track of what is new and what is old. I'll always remember him as that young boy who made me comfortable in new surroundings. He'll always be Travis Dean Taylor. He'll be forever young.
