Obituary of Diana Lee Keathley
Diana Lee Rushlow was born on June 1, 1941, in Trenton, Michigan. She was the only child born to the union of Albert Joseph and Sophie Victoria (Tarlowicz) Rushlow. As a young girl she was baptized and worshipped at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Wyandotte, Michigan.
On July 14, 1958, in Clinton, Virginia she married the love of her life, Earnest Keathley. She was a member of the Dunbar Church of Christ in Monroe, Michigan where she loved participating with the Ladies Bible Club.
Diana was known for her organizational skills and enjoyed doing anything domesticated whether it was cleaning, sewing, quilting or simple crafts. She was also a fantastic cook and enjoyed canning and freezing the produce she and Earnest would grow in their own garden. She made many special dishes, but her potatoes, green beans, and taco salad to name a few were always fan favorites. Diana wasn’t one to let the grass grown under her feet. Always on the go, her partner in crime was often her best friend: Helen Cole.
