Obituary of Paula Tidwell

Paula Mann was born on November 3, 1958, in Newport, Arkansas. She was the only girl born of five children born from the union of Windom and Mildred (Mille) Mann. Paula would gain her education from the Newport, Arkansas public school system, graduating with the class of 1976.

Paula’s entire world involved whatever her grandchildren were involved with. She especially enjoyed spending time with them, even if it was simply sitting quietly. She would participate in any event they were encompassed in doing, from coloring to swimming and everything in between, she was there.

She truly was fully present with her family and their activities. She was a staple in their adventures, even if Paula, herself, thought the venture was a bad idea. 

Paula Tidwell, age 63 of Monroe, passed away at 6:57am on Sunday June 19, 2022. In addition to her passing, she is preceded by both her parents; two brothers: Danny Wayne Mann, Keith Lynn Mann and one granddaughter: Brandy Dawn Mann.

To cherish her memory, she leaves one daughter: Pamela Diane (Jimmy Louis Johnson) McCullar; one son: Mark Anthony Caswell; two brothers: George Fletcher Mann, Ricky Joe Mann; four grandchildren: Allison Paige (Tyler) Featherston, Madisyn Johnson, Adalyn Willis, Olivia Clausen; two great grandchildren: Taygan Elaine McCullar and Elijah Hayes Featherston.

Her care has been entrusted to Merkle Funeral Service, North Monroe; 2442 North Monroe Street, Monroe, Michigan 48162 (734) 384-5185. No public gathering is planned, and cremation has taken place through Covenant Cremation of Erie.
