Samuel Braley

Obituary of Samuel Fredrick Braley

Samuel Fredrick Braley was born on November 25, 1950 in South Lyon, Michigan.  He was the son of Samuel Howard and Charlotte Mae (Thompson) Braley. Sam proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, where he was stationed in Germany before deploying to Vietnam. Over the years, he held many different positions in the construction and manufacturing industries. Before retiring, he was employed as a line worker at Dundee Plastics in Dundee, Michigan for two years.

A free spirit, Sam wandered across the country to wherever his heart led him. Again and again he found himself at his favorite destination, San Antonio, Texas. Sam would often find work as a day laborer. He frequently talked about his experience erecting a rodeo ring. Sam also enjoyed listening to classic country music and watching Western movies. A talkative and friendly person, Sam never met a stranger. More than anything else, he enjoyed spending time with his family.
