Mona E. Rosenbalm was born in Middlesboro, Kentucky on November 2, 1914. She was the daughter of James Rosenbalm and Evelyn (Sutton) Rosenbalm
Mona was very outgoing and independent. She traveled the world conducting business telephone sales and workshops. She had also worked as a self-employed sales consultant for many years in the insurance industry.
Mona was a woman of great faith. She daily read her Bible and had most recently attended the Celebration Center for Spiritual Living.
She was energetic and charismatic. She had many friends and loved to socialize with them. She was extremely fond of her family and she looked forward to meeting with them and consistenly took time to meet at the holidays of Christmas and Easter each year.
She enjoyed reading, thrillers, being her favorite. She was also a movie buff, weekly making time to visit the theatre.
Mona Elizabeth Ling age 99 of Waterford, Michigan formerly of Virginia and Monroe passed away at 6:45am, Thursday, April 3, 2014 at Canterbury on the Lake in Waterford, Michigan. Her passing was preceded by her parents; one brother; four sisters: Geneva Wilson, Ruby Peck, Dorothy Rosenbalm, and Jean Fanson.
To cherish her memory she leaves many nieces and nephews.
Family gathered on Sunday, April 6, 2014 at Merkle Funeral Service, South Monroe 14567 South Dixie Highway (734) 241-7070 (formerly Bennett Funeral Services). Graveside services will take place on Friday, April 11, 2014 at Roselawn Memorial Park in LaSalle, Michigan.
