Carol was a superb nurse and I have many fond memories of working with her. Once we both got used to the idea of being nursing peers rather than "my friend's mom", we formed a great working relationship. She even came to my wedding :) She was a pro at handling difficult situations (doctors) in her role as a supervisor and very encouraging to new nurses entering the profession. After she retired, I loved seeing her and catching up with at her grandkids' sporting events. She was always so proud of her family.
Eternal rest, grant unto her O Lord and let perpetual light shine upon her.
