Obituary of Benjamin Michael Delucia

Benjamin Michael “Ben” Delucia was stillborn at 20.5 weeks into this world on May 5, 2022 at the Northland Family Planning in Southfield, Michigan.   He was the son of Jakob Michael Delucia and Breanna Marie (Nash) Delucia.  

His arrival was excitedly anticipated by his family, and he was certainly to be best buds with his older brother:  Auggie.   In utero, Ben, turned his mom’s world upside down.   He had his own favorite food cravings which did not include sweets and most certainly was satisfied by burgers.   Although, he seemed to be quite laid back most of the time, he did enjoy a little music by Ryan Upchurch from time to time. 

To cherish his memory he leaves his parents:  Jakob Michael and Breanna Marie Delucia of Monroe; a brother:  August Frederick Delucia of Monroe; maternal grandparents:  Jennifer Marie and Eric Alan Nash of Monroe; paternal grandparents:  Karen Marie Blohm-Delucia and Raymond August Delucia of Temperance; great maternal grandmother:  Jill (Calvin) Meyers of Maybee; numerous aunts, uncles, and more than 100 cousins.   His passing was preceded by a brother:  Henry Easton Delucia.

His care has lovingly been entrusted to Merkle Funeral Service, North Monroe; 2442 North Monroe Street, Monroe, Michigan 48162 (734) 384-5185.   Cremation has taken place through Covenant Cremation of Erie, Michigan.
