Grace graduated from Monroe High School with the Class of 1967. On June 1, 1974 she wed Phillip Wayne Hall at First Freewill Baptist Church in Monroe. They enjoyed forty-seven years of marriage and were blessed with two sons. Grace was employed as a line inspector at General Motors for thirty years before retiring in 2000.

Grace was a talented crafter and always had a project in the works. She participated in a few local craft shows and gifted her creations to friends and family. Grace and her husband participated in a mixed bowling league together. Many fond memories were made at Nortel Lanes in Monroe. Grace had a mind for solving puzzles and she spent hours playing Candy Crush. She also enjoyed trying her luck on the slots at Firekeepers and Four Winds Casinos. Grace traveled out West to the glittering lights of Las Vegas numerous times and ventured to North Carolina to visit family.

Grace treasured spending time with her grandchildren more than anything else. Her kind, loving, and giving nature extended to anyone in need. She had an open heart and took in everyone as her own. Grace was the type of person everyone relied on to help in any situation and her presence will be deeply missed.
