Obituary of Paula Diane Vigliotti
Paula Diane Godich was born in Detroit, Michigan on February 26, 1939. She was the only child born from the union of Michael Godich and Anna (Kachur) Godich. In the early 1940’s, Paula moved to the Detroit Beach area. She graduated with the Class of 1956 from Monroe High School.
Paula married the love of her life, Richard James Robert Vigliotti, on July 26, 1958 at St. Joseph Church in Ida. They would make their home in Maybee until moving to Dundee in 1998. She was a homemaker and lovingly cared for the needs of her husband and four children. Paula had an extreme eye for detail, and could be categorized as a neat freak, always keeping an immaculate home.
She truly enjoyed family and friends. A simple person Paula enjoyed conversation with others. Not one to travel she preferred to be a homebody, and so her favorite way to communicate was by talking on the phone.
Being an avid reader, Paula, was very intelligent. She especially enjoyed increasing her knowledge on the subjects of medicine and religion. Paula was very spiritual. She spent her free time tuned into EWTN and TBN, although she did love the Hallmark Channel as well.
Paula Diane Vigliotti, age 82, of Dundee passed away at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ypsilanti on Saturday; January 29, 2022. Her passing was preceded by her parents. The family is comforted in knowing that when she went home to heaven she was going to get her “log cabin in the pines”.
