I was fortunate to have known Betty Jean for the last 3 years while visiting my MIL. We always encouraged her to sit & visit with us. Betty Jean fondly talked about her brother & how well he took care of her. She always helped others who sat beside her when they had bingo and would always say bring me the jewelry tray when she won. When Betty Jean held her arms out at me I knew she wanted a hug. I'm sadly gonna miss her warm greetings & goodbye hugs.

I met Betty 6 Months ago when I started. Working at Wellspring's. She was such a joy to know, she always had a smile on her face.I would bring her little gifts of nothing much a couple of Hershey Kisses or a price of costume jewelry. And She would always say for me? She held a special place in my heart for she had the name of Betty Jean which was my favorite cousins name. Until we meet again Betty I'll remember you..

Our memories of Betty are that she loved God and loved to go to church. She looked forward to seeing her friends each Sunday morning in the adult Sunday School class she attended. Another love and joy for her was to attend the monthly Soul's Harbor gospel concerts, and she enjoyed listening to the cd's of these groups during the week while at home. Now, no more sickness, no more tears - Heaven is now her home forever with her Heavenly Father.
