Obituary of Linda Kay Iski
Linda Kay Peek was born on December 7, 1947, in Rivervail, Arkansas. She was one of three daughters born from the union of Marvin and Zelma (Betterton) Peek. Linda attended Melvindale High School. On December 29, 1984, she married her second husband and love of her life, Steven George Iski in Melvindale, Michigan. The couple enjoyed thirty-three years of marriage before his passing in 2017. Linda had been employed as the assistant manager of a CVS Pharmacy for many years.
Family meant everything to Linda, and she treasured any time she could share with them. She devoted a lot of time to her own children when they were growing up, but once the grandchildren arrived Linda’s attention shifted completely, and she became focused on the little ones. Watching them thrive as they learned new things was her greatest joy. Linda also truly enjoyed the companionship of her sister, Pauline and her nephew, Daniel. The trio took many day trips across the border to the Windsor Casino to try their luck on the slot machines.
Although Linda experienced health challenges and suffered the loss of her beloved husband, she did the best she could to keep her spirits up and continued to enjoy visits from her family.
