Blake Morrow

Obituary of Blake Maurice Morrow

Blake Maurice Morrow was born in Memphis, Tennessee on May 18, 1955.   He was the son of Willie Lee Morrow and Adraean (Keath) Morrow.   As a teenager, Blake, would move from the South to Michigan to stay with his aunt and uncle, Clemenstine and John Morrow.

Blake would be blessed with four children in his life, two of whom were from his marriage with Valeria Campbell.   He worked as a laborer for several local companies to make ends meet.   Blake loved going to the horse track and betting on the horses.   Blake enjoyed wrenching on cars.   He loved to buy them, fix them up, and then sell them.   His yard was a constant reflection of this typically having vehicles in the process of being repaired.

Blake loved music and brought with him wherever he went, a Down South Swagger.   He took great pride in his appearance, always dressing to the nines.   Blake had a contagious laugh, was calm, and smooth spirit.   He was the constant comedian making sure to keep those around him cutting up.   Blake enjoyed putting people to work.   He had no problem requesting assistance or giving direction.

Blake loved his children especially his baby girl, Maurissa, whom seemed to do no wrong in his eyes and his four-legged companion a lab:  Bosco which he cared for as much as the kids.   He loved to travel back home to Tennessee enjoyed road trips with family.
