Emmie was such a blessing to care for! She was definitely one of my most favorites at Wellsprings. every time she saw me she would reach out her arms and hug me and automatically my day got better. I would say she was what I looked forward to seeing everyday. I remember her daughter, grand daughter and great granddaughter came to visit her for her birthday that just passed, I showered her, braided her hair, and made her look nice and presentable. They came to meet her outside of the windows and she lit up. Unfortunately, that was my last week at wellsprings. And wasn’t able to visit after because I caught Covid and then when my quarantine ended they closed visits down, but I will miss my sweet sassy Emilie. Her laughter, smile, and spirit will forever hold a special place in my heart.
