We are so sorry for your loss of your mom, you don't know us but we had the honor of sitting with your mom at lunch and dinners and helped her eat her food, and enjoyed her presence in the sun room on a daily basis at Lutheran Home. Our mother Ruby Fountain was her table companion. Your mother brought such joy to us all if she wasn't in the halls when we entered the home we would worry about her. One year she helped me decorate the christmas tree in the entrance way. Always greeted with a big hug and a smile. Wellsprings will never be the same for me when I visit others there. She was my friend for 5 years we would talk by a ewayser board I would bring in so she could see what I was saying that work wonders with us. May your memories of such a wonderful mom live forever. God be with you all, In Christ Love Janice and Tom Fruchey

Emmie was such a blessing to care for! She was definitely one of my most favorites at Wellsprings. every time she saw me she would reach out her arms and hug me and automatically my day got better. I would say she was what I looked forward to seeing everyday. I remember her daughter, grand daughter and great granddaughter came to visit her for her birthday that just passed, I showered her, braided her hair, and made her look nice and presentable. They came to meet her outside of the windows and she lit up. Unfortunately, that was my last week at wellsprings. And wasn’t able to visit after because I caught Covid and then when my quarantine ended they closed visits down, but I will miss my sweet sassy Emilie. Her laughter, smile, and spirit will forever hold a special place in my heart.

Thank you for helping to take care of this sweet lady. She was always worried if she looked presentable. She was always gorgeous no matter. Even with her ALZ, she knew we were her people. My mom appreciates the care everyone at the Lutheran Home has shown her. She knew love everyday. ❤
