I met Shirley in 1997 when I joined River Raisin Chorus we were always room buddies at competition . The last time I talked to her she ask if I was going to competition and I said with covid still around I wasn't sure and she said well if you do put me down to go too. And even though being in the hospital she was still planning to go for she loved all the Sweet Adelines and we loved her. And if we ever needed anything Shirley always had it in her purse. She was our go to person . We will miss you Shirley ! Rest In Peace.
