We were saddened to hear of Jackie's passing. Our sincere condolence to Ed and all of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was one of a kind with her welcoming ways, big smile and generous heart. When she moved north it was Monroe's loss. She was one of the first ladies I met when moving to St. Pierre St. Our sons became good friends and we always looked forward to her special homemade buck-eyes. I am so sorry to learn of Jackie's passing. She was such a generous, kind person who always charitably treated us to a meal at the restaurant whenever we'd stop in. We had a mutual friend, Olga and I'd update Jackie on her and then update Olga on Jackie when we returned home. I will miss seeing her when going up north. My sincerest condolences to the Larner family. I had the privilege of living next-door to Jacquie and her family for nine years. I was raising two small children as a single parent. Jacquie being the wonderful, kind generous person we all know her to be did whatever she could to be helpful. Any time I needed help Jacquie said yes. She put them on the school bus in the morning and she would be there to get them off the bus at night whenever I needed help. She was amazing I recently learned from Brent that he and Tarik would go over to Jacquie’s and wait for the bus and Jackie would always make them breakfast. I have no doubt there were countless times that Jacquie stepped in to help care for my two sons that I was never aware of. I am truly blessed to have known Jacquie . Jacquie and Ed are both amazing generous kind people, for as much as Jacquie did for my two boys poor Ed had to put up with them being around. I could never thank Jacquie and Ed enough for all they did for me and Tarik and Brent. There is no doubt in my mind Jacquie has earned a place in heaven. I am unable to make it to Michigan for the funeral but I want Ed, Brian, Gina, Matthew, Mark, Liz and Catie to know how much love and gratitude I have for Jacquie and her family. She truly made a difference in my life. I will never forget this kind generous amazing woman. May she Rest In Peace.
