Obituary of Nicole Annette Dodson

Nicole Annette Dusseau was born in Monroe, Michigan on November 7, 1977.   She was the youngest of three children born from the union of the late James August Dusseau and the late Cheryl Susan (Wilkins) Dusseau.   She graduated with the Class of 1995 from Summerfield High School.

She married Steven Michael Dodson in Milan, Michigan on September 13, 2003.   Nikki loved to learn, and she later returned to school obtaining her Associates Degree through Eastern Michigan University.   Her course of study was history, and she loved the opportunity to share her knowledge as a student teacher.

For twenty years, Nikki, was employed at the Speedway Gas Station in Dundee.   She started off as a cashier eventually becoming Assistant Store Manager over her twenty year career.   The past two years she had been employed as a laborer at the Dundee Chrysler Engine Plant.

Nicole had a great sense of humor and a degree in sarcasm.   She was an excellent listener and therefore a comforter.   Nikki had a huge heart and was accepting of everyone.    To know her was to love her, although, she herself had declared that she was not “a ray of sunshine”!

She and Steven had many similar interests being involved with gothic groups and ghost hunting.   They had also attended Comicon events together.   She loved to cook and specialized in Cuban and other ethnic dishes.   Nicole made her home with four dogs:  Tank, Roxy, Podrick, and Wednesday; and Steve’s more than twenty year old cat:  Vito.
