Obituary of Tyler James DeBoodt
Tyler James DeBoodt was born on December 10, 1994 in Toledo, Ohio to Deborah (Ditty) DeBoodt and Dewaine Dale. His lighthearted nature was evident as a young boy and he continued to keep people laughing throughout his life. A kid at heart, Tyler easily connected with children and had a special relationship with his daughter, Nevaeh.
Tyler had eclectic interests. As a child, he expressed his artistic abilities in drawing pictures. He enjoyed all genres of music from relaxing to classical, orchestral masterpieces to joining in on a mosh pit at a heavy metal festival with his brother, Corey. Tyler played the drums and had recently taken up the guitar.
At one time he had a large collection of remote-control cars which he raced. An airsoft rifle enthusiast, Tyler frequented Commandos Airsoft Guns in Roseville, Michigan and belonged to several leagues, traveling as far as West Virginia to play. Although Tyler was a great shot, his family would inexplicably find holes all over their home!
Tyler’s curious nature led him to deconstruct any form of electronics and he could reassemble them just as easily. He was attending classes at Orchard Center High School working towards his GED. Tyler also enjoyed writing in his journal and watching movies and television, especially “The Walking Dead”. It was well known amongst his family that Tyler loved drinking milk, which was speculated to be the reason why he’d never broken a bone despite many misadventures.
