Obituary of Glenda Patsy Kluckey
Glenda Patsy Frye was born on July 25, 1939 in Middlesboro, Kentucky. She was the daughter of the late James and Tressie “Pearl” Frye.
On January 19, 1957, she married John Richard Kluckey in Monroe, Michigan. The couple lived and raised their family with love in Dundee, Michigan. Glenda was a wonderful mother to Kellie, Kathie, Karen, Kristi, and Kedra.
As a Health Unit Coordinator, Glenda was known for her ability and expertise in overseeing hospital units. Her hobbies included crocheting, board games, and reading. She was a devoted mother and an inspiration to her children and grandchildren.
Glenda Patsy “Memaw” Kluckey, age 81, of Pulaski, Wisconsin and formerly of Dundee, Michigan passed away peacefully at home and surrounded by her family on Wednesday; January 20, 2021. In addition to her loving husband, John Richard, she was preceded in death by her mother, Tressie; her father, James; her sister: Rose Etta; and two sons-in-law: Robert Peters and Matthew Coburn.
To cherish her memory Glenda leaves five daughters: Kellie Peters of Ohio, Kathie Coburn of Wisconsin, Karen Ahonen of Michigan, Kristi Couch of Virginia, and Kedra Holewinski of Wisconsin. She is also survived by a sister: Sherrie Mendes of Canada; three sons-in-law: David Ahonen, Jon Couch, and Brian Holewinski; twelve grandchildren: Anthony, Robert, John, Jacki, Luke, Joseph, David John, Andrew, Anna, Sarah, Jason, and Haiden; eighteen great grandchildren: Addison, Robert, Ariya, Emily, Lucas, Tony, Kyla, Xavier, Colton, Hadley, Jack, David John, Natalie, Ethan, Hailey, Lyla, Killian, and Gemma.
Private services were held at Marnocha Funeral Home in Pulaski, Wisconsin. Local arrangements have been entrusted to Merkle Funeral Service, Dundee; 297 Tecumseh Street, Dundee, Michigan 48131 (734) 529-3156. Friends may gather at 11:00am on Saturday, May 8, 2021 at Maple Grove Cemetery in Dundee Township (at the intersection of Brewer and Davis Roads).
