My dear friend Veronica
I never met your Dad but can imagine what he was like by the way you are: Kind, compassionate, thoughtful and someone I know I can always count on. I am so sorry you and your family are feeling his enormous loss. I believe wholeheartedly that no matter what side of the street we are on, in this world or somewhere better, love endures beyond forever. You will always have your Dad. My Dad (and later Mom) are at Great Lakes too. There is no more peaceful place to visit and remember them. I have donated to Wounded Warriors in your Dad's name. What a fitting tribute you have chosen for him. I will be thinking about you in the weeks ahead and will be there when you are ready to reach out.
