Obituary of Larry Eugene White
Larry Eugene White was born in Kingsport, Tennessee on December 16, 1954. He was one of four children born from the union of Early and Jerlean (Lawson) White. Larry would attend and graduate from Bedford High School with the class of 1973 and was later blessed with a son.
In his younger years, Larry lived in Toledo, Ohio. However, for the past twenty-one years, Larry and his partner, Gerald, would make their home in Monroe, Michigan. As an avid outdoorsman, Larry often spent a great amount of his free time hunting deer and turkey with his crossbow and on occasion, he would get in a little fishing when time allowed. Larry cherished the times he would camp with Gerald and their Chihuahua Dotson mixed dogs.
Larry had a certain energy about him that was unmatched by anyone he knew. When Larry walked into a room, everyone was aware of his presence. With his easy-going nature, Larry never met a stranger and was able to make friends with little to no effort. When he was not making friends on a whim, Larry was pulling pranks on those he cared about as he had a great sense of humor.
Three months ago, Larry received his bachelor’s degree as a Registered Nurse. This was something he was very proud of, as the nursing program was very challenging. It was during this time Larry realized what an important support system his classmates would be for him to be successful in this endeavor.
Larry Eugene White, 66, passed away at St. Mary’s Mercy Hospital in Livonia, Michigan on Monday, December 21, 2020. In addition to his passing, he is preceded in death by his father, who passed away almost seven years ago, and his mother, who passed away in August 2020.
