My last, but not my only memory of Uncle Rob will be sailing in San Diego Harbor when the family came out to visit. It was such a clear and beautiful day on the water and the Navy put on quite a nice show for us. Rob was so excited to be out there and enjoy life. I didn't get/take many opportunities to visit after leaving for the Navy, but I have such fond memories of the holidays and outings we had as Barnetts when i was young. If I recall correctly, I can't remember a Memorial day, Labor day or 4th of July we didn't spend at Rob and Nancy's

Rob, you always have had a kind heart. As kids, you would tolerate my tagging along even when it wasn't "cool" to do so. You and Timm would always watch over me but didn't want me to realize that you were doing so. There were many fond memories of you and your family.
Nancy and family, take peace in knowing that you now have an extra guardian angel watching over you. He did that on earth and he will do that until you meet again. Sending my love, prayers and sympathy to you all.

He was always smiling. That's one of the many things I'll remember. Always had a kind word or an encouraging phrase. He was truly a great man and will be greatly missed! Love all you guys!

To my Brother... from your baby sister. We had such a complicated life and I so wish it could have been different . I always thought you were such a cool brother, so laid back, so loving . You always made me feel loved and I didn’t feel that often. You & Nancy raised amazing kids and I have such fond memories of going to your house and staying for sometimes a week. Hanging In the country.I would love a RE-DO with you ! I pray that you knew how I felt about you ! RIP Brother, we will see each other again !
