Deane is sorely missed by all who knew him. It is not very often you meet someone who had the knowledge, integrity, and warm personality that Deane possessed. Sure miss you big guy!

Although we only knew each other a short time, I felt that I have known you all your life and that we could have been brothers the way we got along. I will miss you Big Guy and I am sure you know that.

Deane was such a good guy. Been a long time since we've crossed paths but have a lot of fun memories of Deane and Matt cracking the class up at my expense. We had a lot of laughs and many wise cracks. Too soon to go home my friend!! Prayers and thoughts for your family. See ya on the flip side Deane.

Deane, you are one of those guys people never forget. You always, always came into the office at Airport High School with a smile on your face and a kind word for everyone. It hurts to think of a world without you in it to share your laughter, your sweetness, and wonderful conversation. Rest In peace, Deane, until we meet again. Prayers for comfort for your family, friends, and all who loved you.

I always looked forward to the tractor show each summer. One of my favorite memories is playing tractor baseball for the first time. I had always enjoyed watching but he said if I wanted to play he would drive the tractor. I laughed so much that day. He was always very generous, I have my great-grandfather's tractor because of him. He was an excellent person to be around.

I loved being around Deane. He always had the gift of making you laugh. Its been years since I've seen you Dean but I never forgot what a great guy you always have been. When I think of Deane, in my mind, I see a big smile on his face. Just a happy guy.

Deane, I'm having a really hard time accepting this. I don't know that I can. I remember the day I met you - first day of your freshman year in high school, you were in my algebra class in room 24 at AHS, 1998. That was the start of my 5th year teaching. You were beyond special, and I was counting on us being life long friends. I'm glad I got to see you last summer. I'm glad I got to see photos of Ernie, and I think of you whenever I see an old tractor or some art deco. Be at peace now, and I'll have to wait to see you again.
