William Mark Fisher was born on January 19, 1958 in Bangor, Maine.   He was the son of the late Carroll Fisher and the late Ann (Gardner) Fisher.   Following his high school graduation, William would attend college.

He would later take a position as a self-employed truck driver.   Over the course of his thirty-four year driving career, William, traveled throughout the United States.  With a strong passion, he hauled mostly automotive parts for various companies.

William married the love of his life, the former, Robin Sue Verdon, on September 29, 1989.   They made their home in LaSalle and the couple would be blessed with one son, William Mark Fisher II.

William was known for his kind heart and his willingness to help others.   An amazing husband and father, he valued his relationships with family and friends and was especially close to his wife, son, and his dog.   When, William wasn’t on the open road he enjoyed being outside in the sunshine and breathing the fresh air.   He had a passion for fishing, dropping a line whenever he could, and meticulously enjoyed maintaining his lawn and landscape.
