Maryanne and family, Tom and I were shocked and thoroughly saddened when we learned of John’s passing this evening. Though we didn’t see you guys often, we have always been big fans. John had the best smile and told the neatest stories! And he was always willing to listen…actually willing is the wrong word…he was always “interested” in hearing what was going on with our family, too. I remember when you guys came up north with us, just so he could see where Tom hunted and where our families were from. We will forever remember him as a truly caring individual and friend and will never forget his quick smile, his unrestrained contagious laughter, or how his presence just seemed to fill the room when he entered. He will be missed by many. Our hearts are breaking with you and for you. You are in our thoughts and prayers during this very difficult time.
