Aunt Jo, Our hearts and prayers are with you at this time of sorrow. We have good memories of Uncle George. I remember his fast pitch softball. I had never seen a ball pitched that fast in my life. May the Lord comfort you during this time. We love you. Bruce and Donna

Dear Joanne & Family: I'm deeply saddened at the passing of your beloved husband, father & grandfather. Perhaps Joanne you don't remember me, but I rented your upstairs apt. for almost ten years several years ago, and at one time lived next door to you in LaSalle. I always found George to not only be most friendly but very honest & upright. I most appreciated both his concern & yours Joanne when I was experiencing troubled times. He was a good man and will be justly rewarded accordingly.

Dear Joanne, My deepest sympathies are with you and your family. Even through I know George only for a short period of time, we connected right away. Our visits were precious as we talked about many things from him working at Ford Motor Company, the passing of your daughter, playing softball until age 58, and you being his partner for 64 years. I would say, where is Joanne? His reply was planting flowers around the house. Then we both laughed. We talk about God and his membership at Redeemer Baptist Church. May Psalm Chapter 62 give you comfort and strength. Best wished for good health, strength and happiness in all endeavors. Also, continue strong in your faith as I will keep your family in my prayers. Your Hospice Volunteer Ross Otter And God Said I said: "God I hurt" He said: "I know" I said: "God I cry a lot" He said: "That is why I gave you tears" I said: "God. I’m so depressed" He said: "That is why I gave you sunshine" I said: "God life is hard" He said: "That is why I gave you Loved Ones" I said: "God my Loved One died" He said: "So did Mine" I said: "God it is such a loss" He said: "I saw Mine Nailed to the Cross" I said: "God, but your Loved One lives" He said: "So does Yours" I said: "God, where are they now?" He said: "Mine is on My Right, Yours is in the Light" I said: "God it hurts" He said: "I know"

I will miss you. You were as much a brother to me as my own brothers. I remember all the times you were there for me...whether it was repairs, money, or moral support when I was left alone. Say hi to our other brother, Don, for me and all the rest of our family members that have gone on........see you again one day, your favorite sister-in-law, Jo
