it’s been about 6 years now without you. i wake up everyday wishing you were still here. i miss your voice and hugs. it’s hard going through life not having you here to help me with things a mom would help her daughter do. so much has changed and i wish u were here to see it all. i went to my first homecoming, i got my permit, i got a tattoo for you, i got my first job, and graduate soon.. it’s hard waking up on my birthday knowing you won’t be able to help me celebrate it. i carry u with my every day in a necklace so it makes me feel safer. i love you mom.
