Dear Don, Sheila and Family, I was very sorry to hear about your Dad's sudden passing. We truly do not have the promise of our next breath. I'm glad you were able to spend some time with him and enjoyed hearing you talk about him tonight, (at the funeral). I got to know "Poppy" a little better and felt the love you have for him. I pray I will see him again one day in Paradise and he will tell me stories about you. I offer my sincerest condolences to Jackie and the rest of the family as well. May God be with you all in the upcoming months and years. God Bless and Much Love, Jan

I agree with Don, my memory of Mike is pretty extensive. When you grow up with the sons, and spend a lot time with him you realize there are many things to choose from. One thing I did learn, is that Mike never really met a stranger. Invariably whenever you would ask about someone, no matter who, he would say "I remember you, we went to different schools together" no matter what, that would produce a smile. What I remember is a warm, welcoming spirit. A joke was always there somewhere. A funny story. Or just a laugh. I pray God's covering over the whole family during this time. I too look forward to a glorious reunion with our Father in heaven.

I can not write a memory It's impossible to pick just one There are far too many memories Between a father and a son I know that he loved me My wife and children too He taught me how to love His love for mom was true We will miss his humor, his wit And his funny ways As we anticipate a happy And glorious day When in heaven we meet again!
