Dear Don, Donnie, Jane and families, Mom informed me today of Betty's passing this past weekend. I have such wonderful memories of her all the years at Jefferson and in the neighborhood. That beautiful white hair was always her signature along with her smile. I truly appreciate all the years she, along with Doris Geiman, were aquanastic buddies with my mom at the YMCA. I understand they had more than just a few laughs. May all the wonderful memories be a constant reminder of all the love she had for each of you. Peace and love to you.

Don, Donnie, Susie, Jane, Niles and the entire Wigman family, my heart is heavy as I read the Monroe News today. As a kid you always think that your neighbors are going to be there forever, Don & Betty were always there for our family. One memory I have was the big snow storm where we lost power for 3 days and Betty was in the middle of making bread. She brought it over to our house since we had the gas stove so we all had fresh baked bread and soup that my mom (Ginny) had in the freezer, that's what it was to be neighbors on Vivian Road. I pray that God will comfort you and give you strength and peace in the coming days. Betty will be missed. Love to you all, Debbie Benore-Sciallo

My deepest sympathy for your great loss. Death remains a sting no matter the age. May the "God of all comfort" give you peace during your great sorrow. He assures us in the Bible book of Isaiah 25:8 that all things that cause suffering will be eliminated. May this hope along your warm memories bring you comfort.
