Obituary of Joseph Lee Webb
Joseph Lee Webb was born in Speedwell, Tennessee on December 15, 1969. He was the son of Jimmy Lee Webb and Phyllis Ann (Evans) Webb. He attended St. Mary Catholic Central, graduating with the Class of 1988.
Joe married the former Denise Renee Crockett on October 22, 1994, in Tazewell, Tennessee. The couple was blessed with the birth of two children. Although Joe was known to be difficult, he was a good man, an excellent provider for his family, and a hard worker. He had spent time employed by Johnson Controls and Ford Motor Company before accepting a position at Gerdau Steel. For the past fifteen years he worked in production and was a proud member of the local.
Joe was a wonderful family man, never allowing his work to define him. He loved spending time with his wife, children, and grandson making memories. He spoiled them all, especially Denise.
Joe loved the wind in his face and the sun on his back, searching far and wide for many years to find the perfect motorcycle. He finally found “his” bike a 1999 Kawasaki Vulcan Drifter. He and Denise rode thousands of miles each year to see the countryside together on that bike.
Joe loved sharks collecting many trinkets along the way. He enjoyed traveling with trips to the ocean and the Caribbean being favorite destinations. Scuba diving and time spent on the sand dunes were also cherished.
A gifted artist and drawer, Joe was satisfied to have completed an airbrushing class. He used the skills he honed-in class spending countless hours spraying. He also enjoyed riding four-wheelers and built his own dune buggies, which at first were two-seaters but quickly became four seaters with the arrival of a grandchild.
