In loving memory of Anthony L. Musarelli, a remarkable individual whose legacy will forever be cherished by those whose lives he touched. Anthony, also known to many as Tony, Muzzy, Mister Muzz, Papa, PapaT, Uncle Tony, and Uncle Mister, passed away on Sunday; May 26, 2024, after a courageous two-and-a-half-year battle with cancer.

Tony was born in Norwich, New York on May 4, 1945, the son of Guiseppe "Joseph" Musarelli and Elsie (Wilcox) Musarelli.  Educated at Norwich High School he completed his diploma after joining the United States Marine Corps serving in Vietnam. He returned home to the states obtaining his Bachelor Degree in Engineering Technology from the University of Toledo.  He married the love of his life, the former:  Janice Ann Jacob on January 23, 1971, at Christ the King in Toledo, Ohio.

As a Marine veteran, Tony served his country with unwavering dedication, embodying courage and selflessness in every mission. Beyond his military service, he was a devoted husband, a nurturing father, a supportive brother, a loyal friend, and a beloved grandfather.

His life was a testament to integrity, resilience, and kindness. He exemplified the values of honor and sacrifice, not only on the battlefield but also in his everyday interactions. His unwavering love and guidance enriched the lives of his family and inspired all who knew him.  For over 45 years, Tony worked in manufacturing as an engineer at Ford Motor Company, Visteon, Eberspaecher, and Midway Products. Along with working full time, he spent 15 years building and overseeing the Custer summer baseball program and 12 years with the Monroe High School Athletic Boosters.

In the hearts of his loved ones, he leaves behind a profound sense of loss but also a legacy of love, strength, and fortitude.  He leaves behind his beloved wife of 53 years: Janice (Jacob); his children: Tony (Jenny) Lucas, Brent Musarelli, and Alexa (Tony) Kehres; his two most adored granddaughters: Reegan and Kennedy Kehres; his brother: Joe (Dottie) Musarelli; his sister: Regina Cole; his brother-in-law: Larry (Pat) Jacob; many wonderful nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog: Zata.  Though he may have passed from this world, his spirit will continue to live on in the memories he created and the lives he influenced.

The family wishes to express their deepest gratitude to his Oncologist Dr. Phinney and the staff at his Toledo Clinic practice.  They gave Tony the courage and opportunity to fight hard.  They also express appreciation to the Toledo Hospital (Floors 6A, 7A, and 8A), Sincera Palliative Care, and Hospice of Northwest Ohio, who gave him exceptional care during his last days of life.
