In the early 1960’s, Margaret worked as a Registered Nurse in California for a year and then returned to Michigan taking a position at St. Joseph Hospital in Ann Arbor.  Margaret married the love of her life: William W. Davis on November 6, 1965, in Coldwater, Michigan. The couple were blessed with four children.  They moved to the Dundee area in 1971 where they made their home for the next fifty-three years.  Margaret was a wonderful wife and mother diligently caring for the needs of her family.  She returned to health care in the 1980’s and 1990’s, employed in the Milan offices of Dr. Hartmann and Dr. Becharra.  She then worked for the Monroe County Health Department from where she retired in the late 1990's.

A woman of devout faith, Margaret was a faithful member of St. Irene Parish for more than 50 years.  She also served as a CCD teacher for many years.  She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren and was often present for their activities and sports.  For many years the family enjoyed spending time at their lake cottage in Coldwater.   Margaret enjoyed bowling, watching the Tigers and Pistons, and traveling.  She loved music, especially polka, and collected many records throughout the years.
