Papa me and you had our days fursure but I will say we always made up by the end of the day no matter what … jounree and Leaunte love there papa and there missing you so much .. jounree thinks your at the doctors still. Man papa I’m gunna miss you saying I love ya little bi*** I would always say back I love you too little as*hole LOL.. that was our little thing . I could sit here and write 1000 memories . I knew Dewey for almost 9 years, the entire time I knew him he always was helping family, with anything they need. I didn’t know everything about him, but I knew that he was a genuine good hearted man, I could just tell. He loves his family with all his heart, and he sure had a big one. He always made me feel welcomed into the family! He reminded me a lot of my own grandpa, would do anything to see his family happy, loved to make people laugh, you don’t find that much anymore these days. His memory will live on through his family, that’s for sure.

I remember when I first met him and how proud he was to be your daddy. He just lit up when it was mentioned. He loved you guys. He didn't have to say anything. He wore it on his face with his smile and his laugh. Absolutely beautiful! Remember that he is okay now and that he will be waiting for you on the other side when God comes to take you home.

I remember staying with Uncle Dewey and Aunt Shirley when my oldest son was a year old. I couldn't wait to wake up. Just to sit at the kitchen table and have coffee with the two of them. We would always have nice long talks. The two of them always gave the best heartfelt advice. They gave a new mother (at that time) the courage and strength and knowledge to go on. Uncle Dewey and Aunt Shirley always knew how to turn everyones sadness into cheerful smiles. You will be greatly missed, Uncle Dewey, by everyone who ever had the pleasure and the experience to meet you. I will miss you so much. But I know one day I will get to see you again on God's celestial shores.
