We rented a pontoon and had so much fun with Helen, Rollo, Jean and Larry Durst .We looked for shells, drank a little beer, and ate Helen’s spread of cheese , sausage, shrimp and so much more. Truly wonderful memories we will always cherish!!

Being only a year apart, cousin Helen and I had lots of fun as kids whenever she visited my family home in Blissfield, Michigan, or when I visited her family in Dundee. What I fondly remember about hanging out together as kids is Helen's laugh that came easily and was highly contagious, in the best way. Helen's Dad, my Uncle Frank, owned a bar/restaurant in Dundee and going there as a kid was always fun. I crossed paths many times with cousin Helen at family weddings and we always had fun together. More than once, we drank as many bottles of orange Nehi as we could convince an adult to give us. Helen and Rollo hosted a couple of Matyas family reunions at their beautiful home and property on Wells Road in Dundee.....more good memories. I had a brief phone conversation with Helen in early March that included shared laughter......another reminder of her wonderful spirit. Thank you, dear Helen, for that memory and for all the others that I will carry with me and revisit regularly.

Helen was a very dear friend and a Mom to my girls in Oct. for many yrs when we went Up North hunting. She will be missed by many and the Angels just took her away to heaven to be with the rest of her family RIP Helen ❤️❤️
