Obituary of Richelle Marie Nichols
Richelle Marie Nichols was born in Monroe, Michigan on September 17, 1988. She was the daughter of Timothy Allen Nichols and Frances Marie (Linville) Nichols. She was educated in Petersburg, Michigan through the Holiness Christian School graduating in 2006. She then continued her education to study Criminal Justice at Monroe County Community College.
Throughout her life, Richelle was known to be a caregiver. She loved humans and animals just the same, even with her allergy to cats she rescued them too. Although, for many years she wrestled with her own internal demons, Richelle was a survivor. She personally fought a battle with addiction for more than a decade. Even during this time, she was more concerned about the wellbeing of those around her more than her own. In April of 2023, she was proud to have graduated from Team Recovery in Toledo after participating in a year-long program.
Most recently she had been an in-home caregiver to her grandmother: Grace Linville and was a staple in the life of her nephew: Lincoln. Whenever possible she enjoyed worshipping with her mom at West Toledo Cedar Creek Church and father at Whiteford Wesleyan Church. Family was the most important thing to her from her daughters, to parents, grandmother, siblings, and niece and nephew. She enjoyed playing games especially spades and watching movies.
Richelle Marie Nichols, age 35, of Dundee formerly of Toledo passed away unexpectedly on Sunday; March 3, 2024. Her passing was preceded by her maternal grandfather: David Linville and an infant brother: Timothy David Nichols.
To cherish her memory she leaves her parents: Timothy "Tim" Allen Nichols of Petersburg and Frances "Fran" Marie Nichols of Toledo; two children: Madison Nichols of Temperance and Bailey Porkarski of Temperance; three sisters: Caylie Nichols of Dundee, Amanda Nichols of Toledo, and Samantha Nichols (Jared Smith) of Toledo; paternal grandparents: Rean Nichols and Joan Bucher; maternal grandmother: Grace Linville; a niece and nephew: Lincoln and Grace; and several aunts and uncles and cousins.
