I’m sure Allen will live in my heart and mind as long as I’m on earth. He stayed near us here in Florida . I had my mom with me. We would go to the beach most mornings and hunt shells and wade in the water. Allen’s favorite lunch was the dollar fifty hotdog and pop at Sam’s or Costco. One day when it was just the two of us stragglers coming in from the beach I insisted we stop at the Fishouse for lunch. He wasn’t even going to eat so I bought! He was squeaky tight and even that was a part of him I loved. He smiled not only with his mouth but his eyes too. On St Patrick’s Day of that year our park had a parade. I made Mom an outfit of green. Allen and I wore green that I made from two old tablecloths and Allen wore HUGE green sunglasses. We pushed Mom in a wheelchair along the parade route and had a whole lot of laughs! I’ve missed his visits ever since. My life has been a little better because he was a part of it.
Rest in Peace Allen. Many Great Hugs to you Dianna❤️
