Obituary of Vicki Ann Moore
Vicki Ann Wake was born on January 12, 1958, in Dearborn, Michigan. She was one of five children born to Morton Wake and Ethel (Shafer) Wake. Vicki graduated from Monroe High School in Monroe, Michigan with the Class of 1976. She was blessed with two daughters during her marriage to Terry Moore. Vicki was a dedicated employee of Friendly Ford in Monroe. She worked in administration at the dealership for more than two decades.
Vicki loved to be outdoors in the sunshine. You could find her pushing the lawnmower all summer long, whether the grass needed to be cut or not! An avid gardener, she kept her landscaping lush with flowers, her favorites including lilies and impatients. Vicki also cultivated a vegetable garden every season, at times canning her harvest in preparation for the winter. Vicki took great pride in her home and family; a great cook, she made wonderful homemade meals for her family. She would also bake Christmas cookies from her mother’s recipe every holiday season. Although she ran a tight ship, Vicki had a huge heart. She loved her daughters deeply and absolutely adored her granddaughter.
