Denise married her best friend, Frederick Henry Healey on May 19,1979. The happy couple was blessed with three sons. Denise helped to provide for her family by working for Kmart/Sears for forty years until retiring as the Director of Information Technology in 2013.
The matriarch of the family, it was well-known that Denise was the glue that kept everyone together. No matter where life’s journey took her loved ones, she always made sure to assemble everyone a few times per year.
Denise loved to take walks in various parks, getting lost in her thoughts among the wildlife and beauty of nature. Sunflowers and butterflies were her favorite parts of nature, and she loved the pets in the family including her favorite pets, Martini the dog and Pedro the parrot. Denise also found serenity in her crafts, especially working with stained glass. She also loved watching the Young and the Restless and discussing the show with her mother. Denise also watched Price is Right every day as it was her father’s favorite show.
