Obituary of Anthony Michael Snorf

Anthony Michael Snorf was born on October 5, 1989, in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He was one of three children, the son of Fay M. (McKinney) Snorf and Edward J. Snorf Jr.

Anthony loved his family watching movies and playing video games. Anthony was a splendid father and was a hard worker. He provided for his children by working as a laborer at the Meijer Warehouse in Newport Michigan for thirteen years.

Anthony always liked to look his best and thought of himself as a bit of a fashionista. Over the course of his lifetime, Anthony gathered quite the collection of Nike shoes. He felt that no matter how you may feel on the inside you should always dress your best on the outside. This led him to maintain being well kept from top to bottom. Those that knew Anthony best, understood his desire to put the needs of others first, and his commitment to putting a smile on their face, by making them laugh.

Anthony Michael Snorf, age 34, of Monroe, Michigan passed away unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday; November 29, 2023.  His passing was preceded by his paternal grandparents: Edward Sr. and Margaret Snorf, and Frank and Iva McKinney. One uncle David McKinney.

To cherish his memory, he leaves behind his parents; Edward Jr. and Fay Snorf, a sister Lisa Snorf (Niko Johnson), and brother Eward Snorf III (Connie), His daughters: Kadiance M. and Kaylee R. Snorf, his significant other Jenna Halley and her daughter Maidson. His nephew Aaden Johnson, Elizebeth Johnson, and Lilly Snorf.

Friends may gather on Thursday; December 7, 2023, from 2:00pm until 6:00pm at Merkle Funeral Service, North Monroe; 2442 North Monroe Street, Monroe, Michigan 48162 (734) 384-5185.  A Celebration of His Life will follow at 6:00pm also at Merkle’s with Reverend BJ McDaniel pastor One Way Christian Fellowship Church officiating.
