Obituary of Dalton Shane Pfefferle

Please share a memory of Dalton to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Dalton Shane Pfefferle was born on January 15, 2001, in Monroe, Michigan. He was one of four children born to the union of Scott Edward and Loreida Jane (Dozier) Hensley. He attended Orchard Center High School in Monroe, Michigan. Dalton was extremely close with three of his siblings, older sister: Cierra, cared for him like a mother; Harlan, his only brother, and Raevin, who was his twin, a.k.a his “womb mate”. They stuck together through thick and thin forming a very unique and strong bond.

Dalton was very kind, loving, and sweet despite all the hardships he faced growing up.  He loved his children, his family, and his friends, and was known as the man who would give you the shirt off his back. He was such a generous and giving person that at Christmas time he made sure the less fortunate ones around him received gifts.

Dalton loved music and writing songs, especially lyrics to rap songs. He aspired to become a musical artist one day. He not only loved football but excelled at the sport as well. As a child he was a running back and earned the nickname “crazy legs”, while playing for the Spartans.  He was a member of the semi-professional Southeast Michigan Red Storm football team.

Dalton Shane Pfefferle, age 22, of Monroe, Michigan passed away unexpectedly on Friday; August 4, 2023, in Monroe. His passing was preceded by his grandparents: Sheldon and Vicella Pfefferle and two aunts: Marsha Bell and Shelly Farris.
