Obituary of Delphine Fisher
Delphine Fisher was born on May 25, 1950, in Monroe, Michigan. She was born from the union of John Fisher and Geneva (Austin) Fisher. Delphine was educated through the Monroe Public Schools, but graduated from South High School in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Despite the physically demanding nature of her role as a line worker at the Chrysler Corporation, she strongly recognized the significance of her employment, understanding it enabled her to provide for her family.
While Delphine kept her walls up, she showed love and loyalty to those who earned a place within her circle. As a woman whose inner world was as captivating as her private nature, she was a cherished individual who guarded her heart like a precious gem. Though she approached others with caution, those fortunate enough to earn her trust were rewarded with a glimpse into the depth of her love and unwavering loyalty.
Born with a free spirit, Delphine embraced life on her own terms. As a generous soul, she found joy in giving, especially when it came to her beloved grandchildren. Her love for them knew no bounds, as she would take them on extravagant trips to the mall, where they were given the freedom to choose anything their hearts desired. Delphine was selfless, and the smiles on her their faces were a testament to the immense love she showered upon them, and the only reward she needed.
A true adventurer at heart, Delphine possessed an insatiable wanderlust that drove her to explore the world around her. With an independent spirit, she would embark on spontaneous journeys to any place that piqued her interest, sometimes accompanied by her trusted friends, and other times venturing out on her own. Her curious nature led her to discover the thrill of gaming, where she frequented the live greyhound races in Toledo and Plymouth. Additionally, her trips to Las Vegas became a pilgrimage of sorts, as she eagerly sought out the flashing lights and enticing slot machines.
