My sincerest condolences to the Barbee family. I had the pleasure of being Tony’s friend since the late 80’s beginning in Yuma Arizona while at the Yuma Police Department. We worked together on a squad and there was never a dull moment with Tony around. He will be forever remembered by many as the guy who came to work as squared away as he could be…. Pressed uniform and shined shoes everyday! He was our squad’s “Pretty Boy” (affectionately titled). He was a great police officer and could always be depended on. I’m proud to have had Tony as my friend and he will be sorely missed. Semper Fi! John

I served alongside Tony as a police officer with the Yuma Police Department. Ever diligent in the task at hand Tony was still able to draw out a smile or laugh with a simple grin or comment made under his breath. Tony and me worked together as Lead Mechanics for Delta Airlines. I would always looked forward to working with him. That infectious smile and great attitude made working with him a real pleasure.
